VBN InnoReg

The key element of the project is analysing the knowledge potential, good practices, joint interests and development needs in innovation promotion in VBN partner regions to develop a joint approach to innovation promotion for the VBN macro-region. The project promotes regional collaboration and international networking between regional authorities, universities, technology centres and enterprises to foster competitiveness of the Baltic Sea region, focusing on VBN macro-region.

BSR InnoReg

BSR InnoReg (Strengthening Innovation Governance in Baltic Non-metropolitan Regions) aims to improve innovation governance and enhance attractive and complementary innovation support environments in BSR non-metropolitan regions.
In BSR InnoReg, long-term competence needs of development organizations in the partner regions are identified, which provides basis for regional development workshops and transnational training on selected key themes such as global networking and financing tools.
New innovation support instruments concerning e.g. user-driven innovation, start-up financing and utilization of students in innovation processes will be developed jointly, tested in the partner regions and disseminated as a practical toolkit for the use of BSR non-metropolitan regions.
